Mental Health Mondays

I’m excited to partner with Onward Productions to do a weekly video presentation to answer your mental health questions. Please note this program is not a substitute for competent mental health intervention. Although I am a licensed psychologist, the Mental Health Mondays program is essentially an inspirational and entertainment offering. I hope it will help people develop insight and make needed changes, but it is not meant to take the place of needed professional services.

If you are currently in crisis or feel like your life is in danger, please either call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact a friend for assistance. This program is not a place to receive serious mental health assistance.

If you have a question, I’d love to hear from you! I don’t know that I’ll be able to answer every question that comes in but hope to address issues that will be helpful. In order to submit a question, please send an email to onward.mental.health.mondays@gmail.com.

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

What’s the best way to submit a question to Dr. Morgan?

Email your question to onward.mental.health.mondays@gmail.com.

What kinds of questions can I ask?

You can ask anything you’d like! However, bear in mind that Dr. Morgan may not have an answer for every question people ask.

If I ask a question, will my identity be confidential?

Dr. Morgan will never share any information about your identify without your express permission.

Is this like online counseling?

This is not like online counseling, and Dr. Morgan will not provide any sort of therapy services to individuals who ask questions. His answers will be general in nature with a goal to be helpful to many.

What if I need more help than just asking a question?

If you need mental health assistance, please contact a counselor in your local area. If you are looking for a Latter-day Saint counselor in your area, I would suggest either contacting your local Family Services office (you can find a list of offices here) or consult the directory of the Association of Latter-day Saint counselors on their website.
